Our Denmark exchange - a blog entry

Hi guys! This is my blog about our exchange with Denmark. We‘ve met a lot of new people and learned more about digital Denmark. So we wanted to share our experience with you. Have fun reading :) …

day of arrival:

Full of excitement, we met on Monday, half past five, at Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof. With a train from Brandenburg to Berlin, from Berlin to Hamburg and from Hamburg to Denmark, we finally reached Ballerup after a long trip in the early afternoon, where we got to meet our exchange students, who took us home and showed us around. My host family contained of my host sister, her sister, their mum and their dad. At the beginning I was very nervous and shy to talk to my host family. But as soon as we got to know each other better and as I noticed how nice the family was, I quickly got very comfortable talking to them and it felt like we‘ve known each other for ages. I learned some interesting things about the family and how school is different compared to Germany. It‘s way more digitalised so learning methods are more interesting. After dinner, which was made by the half Italian vather, I went to bed tired and excited for the next few days.

Tag 2 - Kopenhagen:

An Tag zwei unseres Dänemarkaustausches besuchten wir gemeinsam mit der Austauschklasse das international bekannte „Blue Planet“, welches seltene Fische sowie andere Meerestiere zur Schau stellt. Anschließend folgte ein Rundgang in der wunderschöne Stadt Kopenhagen. Nicht nur von Land, sondern auch vom Wasser aus erhielten wir einen besonders guten Einblick in die berühmte Stadt, welche mit reichlich Läden und Cafés gefüllt ist. Auch das Speisen in einem beliebten Restaurants mit vegetarischem und sogar veganem Buffet Kopenhagens machte den Tag zu einem Highlight. Nach einem langen und anstrengenden, jedoch erfolgreichen Tag fuhren wir mit der Metro zurück nach Skovlunde…
